    Description

    Vintage Brass Ashtray from The Chocolate Shop, Madison, Wisconsin--"Home of the Hot Fudge"
    Ashtray measures 5 inches in diameter and is in great condition with light wear, with a toned area on the reverse, probably the original price sticker removed and no other damage.  A Google search revealed the "Chocolate Shop" was at 528 State Street, from 1914- 1950's. This was among the favorite Restaurants and meeting places for University students and Alumni: I even found a couple of pictures to share!
